...my boobies are finally here!
there is hardly any trace of my tuberous problem except my righty is a little lower than the left, but the left is still alittle swollen. I am really happy with my results so far, but I can't stop myself feeling very sad and crying is this normal, to feel so sad and self doubtful even though i am happy with the results and recovery???

I'm glad you're happy!
![]() And I'm sorry you're sad ![]() Strange, ain't it? LOL! And not much fun. {{{HUGS}} But totally normal! Not to worry! The crying and depression are caused by the release of stress hormones from the surgery. It's weird because usually we cry when something sad happens. But in this case it's just physical. You may have some emotional ups and downs over the next few days or even for a couple of weeks. Completely unrelated to what's actually happening in your life! It will go away magically on its own and you will be your old self again! |

I am sorry to hear that you are feeling down. I am going to be having my BA in April for the same reason you had yours. I am so excited and looking forward to having a "normal" round full looking breast which it sounds like you were able to get so that is great news! You should be thrilled
I am sure you are just initially emotional because of everything you have gone through so recently mentally and physically. Give it some time and try to be positive. Best wishes! |

Hi sweetie, I just asked you in my thread how's your recovery, so here you tell all ! Silly me I should I've looked here first ! Anyway, you know I suppose its a little like baby blues, that all I can think, you get so excited before the operation and then its all done its like you feel sad, its all over - well just think now the real fun starts ! Buying the kind of bra's & clothes you have always wanted and the summer is on the way - wow you will look great ! Good luck with the rest of your recovery, I'm sure it will all go just great.

Yes, hon, that is normal. I think it's called "post-op blues".
i felt that way for a few days last week, and I thought for sure it wasn't going to end. All the pain, and discomfort, and the new feeling of boobs that weren't there before (though very cool!) was completely weird to me. In general, you just don't feel like yourself for a while. But it gets better, I PROMISE!! Every day brings change, no matter how small, and everyday you get a tad more energy, and feel a bit more like normal everyday. Pretty soon you'll just be annoyed about sleeping comfortably, morning boob, and wanting buy all the cute bras/clothes you've been dreaming about, but can't 'cuz you're just not quite there yet. When you're feeling down, this is the place to come!! And when you are ready for some celebrating, we're here then, too! SOFT HUGS, PINKLADY! It DOES get better, promise!! |

thank you all for being here to support me! although my hubby has been absolutly fantastic...he can't handle the tears (like most men) so i have to go off on my own and cry in private (just like you anne). so it really has helped to have this support network...i think i would be lost without you all!!
