Tape goo?
Does anyone have a suggestion of how to get the tape goo off after tape is removed?

Have you tried baby oil or baby wipes? If those don't work the only thing that comes to mind in addition is rubbing alcohol but that might not be the best choice out there for your skin!

Great question. I have been dealing with the goo myself. I also have had irritated red skin where the tapes were so I've had to be careful what I use. I tried makeup remover and that worked ok, not great. The goo I could reach came off with some scrubbing in the shower with soap on my washcloth. What I could'nt reach I am hoping to get off after my swelling goes down. My nurse told me to try the baby oil but I didn't have any. Thats why I used the makeup remover.

tape goo comes off very easily with surgical spirit - but be careful if your incisions are still raw coz it does burn. also dont use cotton wool, use gauze so that you dont leave cotton wool fluff.

Yup, baby oil. ANd you know those round cotton cosmetic pads? Those work really well.

Oil...or even lotion would do. I know when my tape came off I was R-A-W so there was no way I would even try alcohol! I used a little olive oil, actually...but then, I'm Italian!!
