I know this is going to sound crazy but I actually couldn't wait to get home Saturday nite and put on my surgical bra and strap.
My boobs were sore just cause they get sore at night and they felt like they had been loose for too long or something. I had on a supportive cotton VS full coverage bra (didn't want to go out with the torpedo tit look or big velcro shoulder straps from surgical bra) and it just didn't compare to the support of the trusty torture strap. So take it from a strap hater that it is possible to actually miss it when the achy boobs set in.

http://www.laurensilva.com/Anita_Pos.../anit-0055.htm That is a link to one style of post op bra. I know they can come in a few different styles but basically all do the same thing.
I'm not sure if I should celebrate you missing the torture strap or not.. but what the heck.. why not, so long as you felt good about getting it back on Just think that one day soon you won't even remember what the strap thing was.. roflmbo

Sometimes I actually feel better when I put my strap on too, but that feeling is usually gone within the hour.

That makes sense, between the soreness & maybe a little reassurance to waer the "gear", I can see why you'd look forward to putting it all back on again!
thanks, smiles |
