I've got a funny feeling......

..........in my right boob

It feels like a muscle or tendon or something is pulling over the implant when I bend over. It's not like it's the whole muscle contracting or anything (that happens too) but more like a section is pulling. They don't feel hard or look odd or anything like that but it's a really freaky feeling, especially as it's only in one. The feeling has greadualy been getting stronger over the last couple of weeks or so.

Has anyone else had this? I'm only 3 weeks post-op and I know I still have healing to do - I hope nothing is going wrong

Thanks

Katie x

I had this too! I asked my PS at my 2.5 week check in about it. He said it was just the muscle trying to stretch. I told him I was freaked that I had pulled the muscles or something. Mine was all the time, not just bent over. Sure enough it went away a few days later. It does kinda freak you out!

Hello, this is completely normal. I had this too. If you can imagine the implant settling over time and throughout the breast different parts of the muscle are stretched and then the implant affecting nerves...it's just a part of the body getting used to it. It's not pleasant, I know. But I called my PS one day about 2 weeks post op almost crying in pain. I had the same sort of thing on my right boob, and it felt worse w/ arm movement, bending over, pretty much anything. I thought I had pulled a muscle or done something...It was fine the next day, just like that! Hang in there......

I had that too for a while.
It's normal and it will go away on it's own. No worries.
