working out and running
hi guys,
My girls just turned 3 months old, I started lifting again and doing chest exercises felt funny, i have partial unders, i started running again yesterday, and i was consummed by the thought that if i start running a lot my implants will bottom out. I double bra, but still, i get sick of doing low impact stuff at times, and love running. any light on the subject would be appreciated. |

I wear 2 bras too. It feels wierd, but PS says i will be ok. Just use support. Now, push ups are a whole different story. They say it takes time for it to go away and feel normal...

If your surgery was done right and you are totally healed, I don't think running is going to make you bottom out. Bounce, maybe, and sag, maybe, but if you use a good, supportive bra, you should be fine. I wear a close-fitting, heavy-duty lycra running top (Nike) with a shelf bra and my boobs barely move at all when I run. They are somewhat squashed under there, but they are held tight and it is not uncomfortable. Talking about it is making me want to go and run! I should get off the forum and go! LOL!

thanks for the info, i'll try to get a better bra,...btw, did you get complete unders or partials? I ask because i read that complete unders have more lower pole support and i;m thinking that it would have less of a chance of bottoming out I'm just over 3 months post Breast lift/and Breast augmentation, i'm paranoid since i only have partial unders and the bottom third of the implant sits over the muscle with know interanl bra like support that one would get from complete unders. |

Hi!
I don't know about partial unders, I have complete unders and when I wear just one bra they move just a little...If I am going to do like a heavy workout I wear 2 bras. They feel perfectly normal, like pre BA. But when I am doing push-ups they feel kinda funny still and I am more than 4 months post-op (can't remember exactly, look at my siggy) ![]() The best way to know is calling your PS and talk to his assistants..I am pretty sure other patients have the same question.
