hey ladies, i saw my ps today for my 6mo follow up. wow time is flying lol! he said everything was great. i can start wearing wire bras now too, woohoo! i told him tho that my boobs are very tender sometimes on the lower parts, both sides. he said its from when he cut thru the muscle during surgery, hmm? anyway, i happen to be very tender today & it isnt even that time of the month. does anyone else still have any tenderness???

they took some pics & showed me my pre op pics, oh my goodness, i couldnt even believe that was me, lol! anyway, just wanted to let you ladies know how my appt went. im very happy with my results!!

Glad to hear everything is great.

I am just a little behind you in time. I was numb underneath and have noticed that I started getting little sharp pains and tender. With this some of the numbness is going away. They say you can take a year to heal. I guess this is part of it.

I still have some tenderness too, I'm 5 months post-op now, so you are not alone.

Congrats! I asked my doc about the numbness under my breast - I had partial unders - (did you?) and he explained that it is normal when the muscle is cut for the nerves to take a very long time to repair themselves - a year is not uncommon. He also said some permanant numbness might exist at the precise incision spot - but it would seem that after 6 months, that might explain the tenderness if your nerves are in the advance repair stages???

hi! every ps is different for some weird reason. ive heard of some girls on here that can wear wired bras like as soon as 6 wks so i dunno! but i waited & now its time for some sexy bras yay! lol!

im so dumb, i knew i forgot to ask him something! ive always wanted to clarify with him if they are partial or full unders. at the initial consultation he told me they would be under the muscle & i left it at that. now, im so curious. i have a feeling they are partial b/c i can feel the implants on the lower parts of both boobs like when i massage. anyway, my ps said somthing very similar to what yours told you except mine is about tenderness instead of numbness. my boobs are just so tender lately, almost sore & when i got home right now my bra had to go!
