Downsizing from an 800 cc saline implant filled to 1250 cc to a 650 cc ultra high-silicone implant.

I had a deflation done about three weeks ago, and my skin shrunk so well that I had a choice between a 590 ultra high profile implant and the 650. I'm just wondering, is there a big difference between the two? I just don't want to be too big again. Not too familiar with the ultras.

Usually about a 50-60 cc difference between two devices that are the same style/profile is a moderate difference. It is usually less than a centimeter difference in width and projection. Certainly either of these will be smaller than 1250 cc of fill in your prior saline implants.

You are lucky that the skin has shrunk so you do not need an uplift of some type! XL breastimplants are my specialty and I do see women such as yourself that have had the XL sizes and have now gone the other way, though much less common than going XL. The difference between the medium/moderate and high profile/ultrahigh profile is the diameter of the implants, with the latter being smaller diameter which should provide more projection and upper fullness. There is no low profile implants. About every 120-150cc of volume will result in a cup size gain or loss.

Thank you for your question. I generally ask patients to communicate with goal photos instead of choosing the breast implant. I find it to be more accurate. I take these goal photos into the operating room and use them to determine which breast implant/ profile, etc will achieve the patients goals. I recommend further discussion with your surgeon to make sure communication is clear.
Best wishes for an outcome you will be pleased with.

I would like to have my implants sit higher and to have more upper fullness. Will changing the placement of the implant to under the muscle give me the fullness I'm looking for or is there another option? Is there anything else besides a full breast lift that can be done? I don't like the scarring that goes along with a breast lift! Thanks for your input!

I am three months out and have been spitting stitches six weeks after surgery. I understand scars take up to a year or more to mature, however incisions that were once impeccable (with current surgery) are now very unattractive. This is my 2nd revision (I've had implants for 26 yrs) but with a full lift this time. I can't continue scar treatment because of spitting stitches/stitch abscess. My PS doesn't seemed concerned and advises me on care. Is there an end to this madness?

I replaced my 8 year old saline implants with Inspira because I wanted a more natural feel and look. I am two weeks post and was told they weren't going to change much considering my skin was already stretched out. I was also told inspira are more filled so they won't be as soft as traditional silicone. Does that mean they won't get any softer? They don't feel much different from my saline. I got the responsive gel and went 90 ccs bigger.

I had a capsulorrhaphy due to severe bottoming out after a lift with implants. My implants are still small and unders. I don't want them to drop, because now at 2 weeks post-op, they look normal. My right breast cannot take more dropping without looking bottomed out again. The left a/n are a little too low now, but I can handle that. I'm wearing a sports bra 24/7. Can I expect my breast to stay this way? I'm paranoid about my right breast dropping any more. Thank you!

I want to go from 400 cc's too 800 cc's. I'm 170 pounds, 5'8'' and broad shouldered. I'm a bigger framed woman and feel that 800 cc's would give me the look I desire. My plastic surgeon said he would not go bigger because he is not fond of that look. I want to go as big as I want, and I also want a lift. Is it common for a surgeon to refuse to insert implants of this size? Where can I find a surgeon who will give me what I want?

I had a breast augmentation 3 years ago and from the beginning I've developed a dent on the cleavage area of my right breast. My surgeon said it would get better with time but it has only gotten worse. Afterwards, I had a second augmentation because the first implants were too heavy, and the dent is still there. I'm afraid I have a double bubble and he does't want to admit it. How should I proceed in fixing this?

I am 5 feet 5 inches tall and 150 lbs. I currently have 470cc gel implants under the muscle. I will be revising to 560cc gel moderate implants. Will this be noticeable, or should I go up to 600cc? I am hoping for a sizeable difference. Currently, I have no cleavage and need a push up bra with padding to get any kind of cleavage. I am hoping to look bigger, and at the same time, not too big. I started with a deflated 32 C cup.

I am 5'6" tall and weigh 108/110 lbs. I've had two breast augmentations, each time increasing in breast implant size. I'm looking to have a third surgery and go from 610cc's (Sebbin LS90 Moderate profile) to 1300cc silicone. I workout everyday. I'm skinny but have elastic skin. Is it a good idea to go this large? What could be the implications of such a large increase?
