How long do I have to wait to redo my right breast implant after surgery?

I am 2 weeks post op ... Over the muscle and one implant is larger than the other. It's driving me crazy that I have one larger breast. I would like to replace my right side with a larger implant to match. How soon could I do this ?

At 2 weeks post-op, the unevenness could be due to swelling. Sometimes breast implants also drop into their pockets at different times. It is not abnormal for them to heal at different rates, or to look slightly different in the beginning. I suggest patients wait until about 6 months after a surgery before they proceed with any revision. You may be surprised to see how your breasts will even out in look over the next couple of weeks. Give it a little more time. If you are still unhappy in the future, you should consult with your surgeon.

You should be asking your surgeon when that could be done. I am not sure why the implant is over the muscle; this is not clear. Did you need a breast lift? It is very early and you should be asking your surgeon for all these answers. Usually, it's too early to redo now.

You wait until the left side is completely settled. This would be 8-12 weeks. As they settle, they can change in shape/appearance.

Thank you for your question. Most patients are advised to wait at least 6-12 months before considering a breast implant exchange. Because you are only two weeks post-op, there will be changes over the next several weeks/months to your breasts. Your breasts will heal, and settle at different times, so it is best not to worry about anything such as an asymmetry this early. Patience is key, and every women in the world (with or without implants) has a mild asymmetry.

I would like to have my implants sit higher and to have more upper fullness. Will changing the placement of the implant to under the muscle give me the fullness I'm looking for or is there another option? Is there anything else besides a full breast lift that can be done? I am three months out and have been spitting stitches six weeks after surgery. I understand scars take up to a year or more to mature, however incisions that were once impeccable (with current surgery) are now very unattractive. This is my 2nd revision (I've had implants for 26 yrs) but with a full lift this time. I can't continue scar treatment because of spitting stitches/stitch abscess. My PS doesn't seemed concerned and advises me on care. Is there an end to this madness?

I replaced my 8 year old saline implants with Inspira because I wanted a more natural feel and look. I am two weeks post and was told they weren't going to change much considering my skin was already stretched out. I was also told inspira are more filled so they won't be as soft as traditional silicone. Does that mean they won't get any softer? They don't feel much different from my saline. I got the responsive gel and went 90 ccs bigger.

I had a capsulorrhaphy due to severe bottoming out after a lift with implants. My implants are still small and unders. I don't want them to drop, because now at 2 weeks post-op, they look normal. My right breast cannot take more dropping without looking bottomed out again. The left a/n are a little too low now, but I can handle that. I'm wearing a sports bra 24/7. Can I expect my breast to stay this way? I'm paranoid about my right breast dropping any more. Thank you!

I want to go from 400 cc's too 800 cc's. I'm 170 pounds, 5'8'' and broad shouldered. I'm a bigger framed woman and feel that 800 cc's would give me the look I desire. My plastic surgeon said he would not go bigger because he is not fond of that look. I want to go as big as I want, and I also want a lift. Is it common for a surgeon to refuse to insert implants of this size? Where can I find a surgeon who will give me what I want?

I had a breast augmentation 3 years ago and from the beginning I've developed a dent on the cleavage area of my right breast. My surgeon said it would get better with time but it has only gotten worse. Afterwards, I had a second augmentation because the first implants were too heavy, and the dent is still there. I'm afraid I have a double bubble and he does't want to admit it. How should I proceed in fixing this?

I am 5 feet 5 inches tall and 150 lbs. I currently have 470cc gel implants under the muscle. I will be revising to 560cc gel moderate implants. Will this be noticeable, or should I go up to 600cc? I am hoping for a sizeable difference. Currently, I have no cleavage and need a push up bra with padding to get any kind of cleavage. I am hoping to look bigger, and at the same time, not too big. I started with a deflated 32 C cup.

I am 5'6" tall and weigh 108/110 lbs. I've had two breast augmentations, each time increasing in breast implant size. I'm looking to have a third surgery and go from 610cc's (Sebbin LS90 Moderate profile) to 1300cc silicone. I workout everyday. I'm skinny but have elastic skin. Is it a good idea to go this large? What could be the implications of such a large increase?

I just received 300 cc, high-profile silicone implants a week ago, placed under-muscle. Although I am tall and lean (5'8", 144 lbs, 32A/B prior to surgery), my doc said he could not place anything larger than 300 cc because of the pectum excavatum. Anything larger makes my nipples point inward due to the inward trajectory of my chest wall. I am happy with any size increase I can get, but still feel that I will be too small once I drop and fluff. Are there any other options available for me?
