If your implants are under the muscles of your chest wall, you may be experiencing a spasm, which should improve with time. It is unlikely that you have an infection without a fever and redness. If your symptoms persist, you should return to see your surgeon.

Your muscle is likely rubbing against the implant making it rub against the chest wall. Your GP should not be the one evaluating and managing this - talk to and see your plastic surgeon ASAP.

Infection in a breast augmentation site is a significant issue and could lead to implant removal. No idea why your GP would be handling this or prescribing antibiotics... GO SEE YOUR SURGEON.

Thank you for your question. I would recommend that you contact your plastic surgeon. If you are unable to see your surgeon, then you should be examined by a board-certified plastic surgeon. Without examining you it is difficult to determine why you are feeling these symptoms. Inflammation in the breast tissue such as mastitis can cause the symptoms you are feeling. You may also be experiencing the early signs of capsular contracture. With that being said, everything you are experiencing may be normal in the healing process. I encourage you to reach out to your plastic surgeon so you can be more thoroughly evaluated. I hope you feel better soon.

If you have any concerns, the best advice is to consult with your board certified plastic surgeon (ABPS). This is especially true if there is any concern regarding infection. While your narrative is not suggestive of infection (fever, redness, swelling, pain, drainage, constitutional symptoms), without an in-person exam very little definitive advice can be offered.

Your GP probably has very little experience managing implants or suspected implant infections. I would suggest contacting your surgeon ASAP.
