My left breast appears lower and is red and painful. Is my doc taking the right measures? What is going on?

I had a breast augmentation and lift June 20. My left breast looks lower but dr ignores my concern. However, I went in three days ago, and the redness and now pain on left side continues. He put me on Keflex 500 mg, 4 times a day for 10 days. My right side feels better, but something is still wrong with the left. I go back in a week, but am getting more worried. Also, I still need Percocet to sleep. What's going on? Is my doc doing all that he can to help me?

This would have to be determined by a good physical exam. Sounds like a low grade infection, which is why he put you on Keflex. As far as the pain, it is impossible to say where that is coming from. You should get a second opinion locally.

Keflex will do nothing. If you have an infection, the implant must be removed.

You just had this surgery done, and you are under your surgeon's care. You must go in for all your follow-up visits and communicate your concerns. However, you can explain what is going on and take the advice of your doctor. He will assure you.
Wound healing takes time. Remember to follow your doctor's protocol. Do no go to the Internet to be treated; you are under a plastic surgeon's care. Please follow his protocol. Medications take time. As long as you have open communication, you will be OK. Wound healing takes time.

My partner just had a breast augmentation. She wanted bigger breasts and went from 450cc's to 520cc's. She is 36" in the chest, 5'3" tall and a size 12 (curvy). What cup size will she be? I love my girlfriend dearly and didn't want her to go through with the surgery, but she insisted. She wants to be a F or G cup.

I am 96 lbs, 5’4, 38 years old. I want modest breasts. I wanted 275 CC but my surgeon said 330-360 CC when we discussed saline. But then I decided on silicone and he said 365CC. I don’t want to be a “D” cup.

I have not gone for a consult at all, but have always wanted a breast augmentation/enlargement for the last 12-14 years. I want to know what I can use in order to try out the right size at home and possibly around town to make sure I am looking to the right size when I go for the consult. Also, I am looking for a detailed number of CCs that would get me to that size. .

Hi, I heard that Motiva ergonomix implants are better than other implants brands/smooth or textured type. Is it true? I'm so confused due to lots of advertisement on the internet and somewhat short of real reviews. (FYI, I'm an Asian.) I would be grateful if you could give me some advice on this. Thanks in advance!

I had a breast augmentation (implants) 5 years ago. One of my breasts has always hurt, and now it is starting to get a flap/droop towards the inside of that breast. This drooping breast has a red mark where the flap is, and it hurts. My doctor claims it is due to gravity. Is this true? What could be causing the pain?

I am four weeks post op and see my surgeon for my follow up tomorrow. My breasts look 100% better! But they look good, not great. They are not what I expected and not what I was made to think they would be. I don’t want to upset the surgeon but to go through all of this and pay this much money and not be happy... I started my journey with VSG. After losing the weight my breasts had deflated! So I had a reduction, lift and implants. We kept going over the “fullness at the top” and it’s not there.

It’s been two years since breast enhancement surgery, and my right boob fell today. I’m not in pain, and I did not feel it happen. That breast still has the fold/crease underneath, but it’s 1.5 inches lower than my left, feels flatter, and is not as tight. How much does a crease fix cost?
