Extensive Training

Having completed undergraduate and graduate degrees in North Carolina and Alabama, Dr. Tantillo moved to New England in 1989 to begin postgraduate training as a general surgery resident at Tufts University. Following that, he completed a plastic surgery residency at Massachusetts General Hospital at Harvard University, then was awarded a clinical fellowship in hand and microvascular surgery at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and Boston Children's Hospital. He's remained in the Boston area, establishing a cosmetic plastic surgery practice more than 10 years ago.

Dr. Tantillo established his reputation for taking a personal interest in his patients early in his career. He believes that listening intently to patients and learning about the reasons they want cosmetic procedures is an integral part of getting successful results. By understanding your cosmetic goals, Dr. Tantillo can recommend the best treatment path to accomplish those goals.
Exceptionally Qualified

Dr. Tantillo's training and experience are exceptional. He is certified by The American Board of Plastic Surgery and an active member of both the American Society of Plastic Surgeons® and The American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery. He earned his medical degree at the University of Alabama School of Medicine after his completing undergraduate work at Davidson College. Besides his training at Harvard, where he completed his plastic surgery residency at Massachusetts General Hospital, Dr. Tantillo is also fellowship-trained in hand and microvascular surgery.

Blakely (Physician Assistant)
Blakely joined us in November of 2011 and immediately became an integral part of our care team.  She assists the physicians in the operating room, participates in perioperative care and is available for all of our patients concerns. She is an avid animal lover, living with her husband and their 4 dogs!

Evelyn (Operating Room Nurse Manager)
Evie is nothing short of a total delight.  She recently was awarded the "Light of the World" award by the Boston Archdiocese for her never ending upbeat personality and for the care she has provided to the less fortunate.  We are so lucky to have her running our surgical suite.  She comes from a family of nurses including her husband and one of her daughters.

Debbie (Office Manager)
Debbie has worked with Dr. Morris for 24 years and has been with Longwood Plastic Surgery since its inception. Detail oriented and highly organized, Debbie functions not only as a superb office manager but as den mother as well. She manages the daily functioning of the office with great aplomb. She loves to cook and even spoils the office with her amazing chocolate cakes!

Jeanelle (Billing Manager)
Originally from Cambridge, Jeanelle has a strong interest in art, including fashion design. She has a degree from RISD in Fine Arts and Industrial Design. In her spare time, she loves to travel and cook.

Lori (Patient Care Coordinator)
Lori has been with us for 15 years. She has worked with Dr. Morris' patients during this time providing compassionate care and kindness. She is extraordinarily good at juggling Dr. Morris' operative schedule and our patients love her! Incredibly personable, Lori always has a smile on her face. Lori has three children and is an extremely talented seamstress!

Jane (Patient Care Coordinator)
Jane has had 15+ years of experience in the field of plastic surgery and over 20 years in medical settings. Enthusiastic and knowledgable, Jane is always willing to answer your questions! She has done a great job as Dr. Halperin's patient coordinator. She and her husband have a beautiful preschool aged daughter and two adorable black cats, Tyler and Spencer. In the very few spare moments she has, she enjoys the beach and making jewelry. 

Diana (Patient Care Coordinator)  
Dianna is a relatively new addition to the team as Dr. Tantillo's coordinator. 

Jen (Senior Medical Assistant)
Jen has worked with Dr. Morris for 23 years and has also been at Longwood Plastic Surgery since its inception. She is highly experienced and clinically superb. She assists with minor procedures, performs the tattoos for the reconstructive patients and, generally keeps the doctors on their toes. She has an incredible sense of humor and loves interacting with patients.

Idalia (Medical Assistant/Scrub Tech)
Idalia recently joined the team as our Senior Scrub Tech. She originally comes from Brazil and loves being in the OR.  She fits right in at Longwood Plastic Surgery. She lives with her husband and 2 children.

Marissa (Front Desk Coordinator)
Marissa recently joined LPS looking forward to streamlining front desk operations. She is a people person and loves interacting with our patients. Gcobisa (Medical Assistant/Front Desk) Gcobisa just joined our ever growing practice to help with both medical assisting duties and at the front desk. She is enthusiastic, friendly and always eager to help.
