3 years later and still have breast milk...

Dr. Kim,

I saw somebody else's post regarding how soon after can you get a BA after breast feeding. Well altho that is not my problem exactly, I have never stopped having breast milk. It's not like before when I was actually breast feeding, but if my breast are touched a certain way milk is sure to come out. My gyno says it's normal, but would that affect a BA in any way? I stopped breastfeeding 3 years ago...

I guess it would depend on how much milk is coming out. You may want to get you prolactin level checked out. Sometimes a benign tumor on your pituitary gland could cause increased prolactin levels and mild production.
