What did you use on your scars?

Im only a week out so I haven't started anything yet, but I bought a recovery kit through eden knows implants and it includes an all natural scar salve. I'm looking forward to using it since I've read really good reviews about it!

My steri strips stayed on until my 3wk post op visit. After that I rubbed a bit of coconut oil on them for a few weeks after then stopped doing anything. It's been almost 8 months and they're hardly visible. I'll have to update my albums soon with a new photo of the scars.
I think so much of it is the luck of the genetic draw.

I left my surgical tape on for 3 weeks. Got the okay to remove it a week after surgery but PS said the longer I could stand it the better. Then a few days after that I got Scar Away silicone sheets. I wear them at night and after only a few days I can see a difference in color and texture!

Silicone cream!
I bought this at the local drug store. It's amazing! The color of my incisions has almost completely faded. It's called Scar Therapy. You can buy it at Walgreens, by the bandaids. 😊

Oldish bump on this but this is what I am using, so curious if others got good results. And how long did it take yours to fade? Mine still seem super bright after 10 weeks. What's not helping is that I think/hope they still have D&Fto happen, as the scar crease is super low. After I wear my band all night the scar is right in the crease, but if the implants "ride up" over the course of the day, the scar seems lower. Going to talk to my PS about it...

Oh, i remember that i did not wanna undergo breast augmentation just because i was worried that my scars will be visible and i will hate my breasts even more than before. But my surgeon dr. Benes ensured me that the scars will be hidden under and they will be very tiny. Thanks god he did not lie:-) Must say that they are barely visible. I got some free creams at Forme clinic i was using from the beginning. It seemed they helped but now preventive i use bio oil. The scars faded a lot and my breasts look great.

Biocorneum. It's been working great! It has really flattened out my scars. It also has 30 SPF.

I use a Essential oil blend of Tamanu Oil, Helichrysum oil, Lavender, carrot oil, & Rosehip oil. I use a high percentage zinc oxide Calamine cream too at night since Zinc oxide reduces redness, inflammation and is a necessary component of collagen production. Even my Surgeon is impressed with my rapid scar healing. And I'm a smoker!

My doctor recommends paper tape for the first 6 months which I am doing. If I don't wear it for say 1 day I apply raw shea butter and jojoba oil
