Sensitive incision sites

Hi. So I知 5dpo on BA/ BL and my PS removed all my bandages today. She said my scars look good and no need for any more covers and good to shower.

Only problem is the crease anchor incision on the outer part of my left breast is still quite sore. I知 wondering what some of the ladies on here did to decrease irritation on their incision sites? Thanks.

I am 3 weeks post op. I had a lollipop lift and my incisions are still very sore. In fact, the one on my right breast has issues that are causing me to wear gauze over it. With that said, both sides are sore but one more so than the other. Last week I was cleared to wear a regular bra during the day. I can only manage wearing one for a few hours because it causes more pain. I have on a sports bra at work today because it doesn't irritate me.

Hang in there. Things will improve eventually! Maybe someone else will have better advice!

Some women find wearing a light, soft cotton camisole under their bras to decrease irritation caused by post surgical bras or regular wireless bras. I used gauze 4 x 4's under my bra on top of my incisions to give some cushion/protection from my post-op bra as well as avoiding sleeping on my right side where my anchor incision extends toward my underarms and was much more tender than the left. Speaking of comfortable wireless bras, I give high marks to the wireless Bali Comfort Revolution Bra that is sized, S, M, L, XL.
