Traumatic experience- is laser a solution?
I was 2 weeks postop BA before I was able to shave my legs. I am otherwise always on top of this. Imagine my shock to lean down to shave at last and spy DARK MAN HAIRS on my legs. And not just a little, a fu#%load! My legs looked like men's legs no joke. Who knows how long this has been going on! I am really in shock. I am a natural blond, this isn't supposed to happen to me!
Ok deep breath. What do I do to get rid of this once and for all? Money is no object. I never want to see this again. Best approach?

Laser hair removal.. I personally havent done them for my legs (yet) -- so far only my underarms and I LOVE IT!!! Ive had 3 treatments and notice from the first treatment less and less hairs. I have now shaved my underarms about 2 times since my last appointment on 11/7.
Im going get the brazilian and then my legs

If those hairs are dark, go for the laser! I've had one treatment so far (6 wks ago for Brazilian and underarms) and I've only had to shave a few times. Normally I have to shave every day. I can't stand prickly hairs anywhere. Before I was waxing a couple areas and the regrowth until your next appt is terrible.

One of THE BEST cosmetic dollars I've spent!
I did some research before having my whole body done (lip to toes) and learned IPL does not work. Only had the Yag laser and have had fantastic results. Started about 2 years ago, almost nothing left but a few strays and peach fuzz.
It was worth every cent and every drop of sweat (never used numbing cream - wish I had
Groupon is wonderful for getting great deals.
Wishing you the best in your results!

50&Fab, thanks for this topic!! I've been wondering what new thing could i do for myself on top of now getting my breast redone and Gels for my nails after getting my 5.3 (53yo) in August. I had been told Laser hurts but i think after reading here this is what i need too! My 27yo daughter works a Pretty Kitty, i think she told me its painful.
The hair on my legs reminds me of fly hair, yeeesh,, and i'm so tired of shaving under my arms, sheesh!! and i got that lone 1 granny hair on my chin that shows up right when i check myself out in my car mirror before going into work and it doesn't pluck out easy at all, here i come Laser, yay!!
got a Groupon for $29 just collecting dust like for over a year now, i think its never expires, hope i can add it to the amount it'll cost,
doing the mamba, cha, cha, cha for my liberation from fly hairs!
UPDATE: i just found this Groupon Laser deal, what do u all think?

Certain areas are painful. When using numbing cream, I found it tolerable. I'd do it again
