How Much $$ Does Permanent Lip Injections Cost?
#3
Hi Ladies,
There is permenant lip fillers called Aquamid and also Silikon 1000.
They are injected into your lips. I am not sure if Aquamid is FDA approved. But I know that Silikon 1000 is NOT.
I was looking into them because I have spent a fortune on non permenant fillers. Lisa Rinna the actress got the Silikon 1000 injected and she has had to remove them via very painful surgery. Because it is tiny drops of silikon injected into your lips they are VERY hard to remove and may not be able to be fully removed. And they can cause lumps and bumps and migrate into other areas of the body.
I am thinkig of getting one of the above but my lip injector warned me against it because she said when permenant lip enhancement goes wrong...they go VERY wrong.
hmmmmm I still want them though ha.
xx

I have heard bad things about the permanent ones. I was quoted $595 for juvederm for one lip (one syringe) and it would last around 9 months.

I paid £410 ($627) per syringe for Aquamid and I needed two syringes for my top lip.. It's prob as close to permanent as you can get in terms of fillers but you do have to be really really careful and go with a v.skilled injector as there's more potential for problems. I had mine done 18 months ago and it hasn't gone down at all.. I haven't had any lumps or other issues..

Recently I've been reading about "permalip"... it's a perm implant but also if you decide you don't want it, it can easily be removed unlike other permanent lip solutions which can be difficult to remove.... anyone have this done? Sadly I can't find anyone in Canada who does it but I know there are surgeons in the US who do the procedure. If you search on google images you can see some results, I think it actually turns out looking really nice and natural...
