Restylane or Juvederm?

I am desperately craving lip injections. I don't want to go the permanent route because I don't think I need much... I just want a little more plump in my pout.

My PS offers Restylane and Juvederm.... have any of you tried both? Only one? what is your feedback on it? What was the cost and how long did the results last?

Thanks in advance!

I've had Juvaderm in my lips before and was really happy with the results! My lips were really soft and didn't look like they had been filled at all.

I remember my DR saying that she prefers Juvaderm because it has softer more natural looking results compared to Restylane.

Thanks... I am going to go with juvederm but I need to wait a while. Husband might divorce me since I've now added Botox and microdermabrasion to my routine.

1 syringe is $525 and I'm told to expect it to last around 9 months. I only want it in my upper lip as my bottom lip is plenty pouty already.

I did restylane only because my friends works at the MedSpa and that's what she recommended and prefers. I'm going to try the Juvaderm next time so at least I can see which I like better
I think you've already seen the pics of my restylane results. If not they're up I'm very happy with them. I did about 3/4 of the syringe I'm going to have the rest put in next week.

I vote Juvederm!

I definitely agree that Juvederm is the best injectable to give lips a slight pout while still keeping them feeling natural. The results last a couple months so the maintenance is minimal, just a few touch ups each year, which doesn’t bother me at all since I’d rather go in often instead of committing to one look. Dr. Studin, my plastic surgeon, (check out his site: www.webplastics.com) is great about varying the dosage so that my lips look natural and never over-plump.
