I am having juvederm injections on Tuesday mid-day and I'm not sure when my lips will look normal, aside from the desired added fullness?? I am trying to figure out if the next day or within a few days if I will be calmed down and not look like I've just had something done?

I was super puffy second day! I could barely talk...i have a pic in my album of day 2...swelling went way down by day 3 good luck!

Mine always takes a good 4-5 days to settle down, a lot depends on if u get a nerve block as well. Good luck! I want to get mine done again soon!

Thanks ladies... Tlove, I see what you're saying but they don't look grotesquely swollen...

This is horrible but I'm not telling my husband that I'm doing it. I will confess if he asks but he isn't the most observant so I'm hoping to get away with it. Plus I have a business trip six days after so hopefully I'll be normal again by then.

So I did it today... Holy crap. I looked like Taylor Armstrong from RHOBH for the first few hours... I did a microdermabrasion before the lips do my face is like Jen, WTF. I am pretty bruised... I'll post pics later when I can force myself to look.

Lol! It takes my lips about 4 or 5 days before they start looking somewhat normal. I don't know how some women go out for drinks or dinner the night of or the next day, I totally rock the duck face!

You will LOVE your results once that awful swelling goes down. I'm getting mine done for the 3rd time next month

definitely give yourself a few days to see the full result. I love juvederm, especially love when the outside line of your lip is defined. I need to go back for more!!
