I had my bridal shower 10 days post-procedure, and my future MIL asked what was wrong with my upper lip and said it looked swollen. I made up an excuse that my 6 month old niece bonked me with her head. I thought maybe it would still go down a bit since I wasn't yet two weeks. I got lunch with a friend today who I haven't seen since before injections, and halfway through she asked me the same thing as my MIL and said it looked swollen. I gave her the same excuse. I'm 16 days post-procedure and starting to get worried. I really like the look of my actual lips, but the skin above my upper lip does still look a little swollen in certain light. I can feel the Juvederm on the right side, but not on the left, and I think the right side looks more swollen than the left. Is it at all possible that it's STILL just temporary swelling that will go away? Or is it inevitable that the skin above the upper lip will always look like that after Juvederm? Trying to get advice before making a follow up appointment...
Okay so I was paranoid and emailed the PS and attached pics. Hope he gets back to me soon...
