lip lift?

Has anyone here had a lip lift to increase the size of their upper lip? It seems like a good permanent alternative to injectables or lip implants. I would like to enhance my lips but don't like the thought of having injections every few months and am unsure about the feel of a silicone implant. Most of the before/afters I've seen look nice and natural, and the scar is hidden in the nostril area.

What is the recovery like? And did you get any fillers injected in addition to the lift to give more fullness? Thanks!

Ive never heard of the lip lift but have had juvederm injections in my lips for more fullness. I've read reviews of the new silicone lip implants & apparently they've gotten really great reviews. Patients couldn't feel the implant & healed rather quickly. I think cost is around $2000 & u get to pick the size of your lip implant. Worth looking into if you're looking for a more permanent fix!

My friend had a lip lift when she had her rhinoplasty done.. her PS just did the lift when he was stitching her nose back up I guess! I can't remember the actual name of the procedure, she said there's some technical name for it other than 'lip lift'... but hers looks really good and natural! I'm actually jealous, even though it's really subtle, I kind of wish I'd got one with my rhino!

A "lip lift" is going to give you more pink show, or the appearance of larger lips but no increase in fullness. I don't know of too many surgeons that do this procedure on its own.

I have done fillers in my lips in the past and it can be bothersome in that you have to re-do it every 6-12 months to maintain the look.

I eventually got the lip implants and I love them. Mine are COMPLETELY natural looking and no one can even tell I have them. Initially I didn't care for the way they felt in my lips but now I don't feel them at all and don't notice them. And no, my husband cant feel them.
