Your a bit young for that but to each their own.. Yes it sucks but less then a lidocaine if you have had that. If you can take the shots in your mouth for dental... you can take Botox easy.

I am all about prevention!! I am borderline on "needing" botox but now I am hooked! I love it! Anyway, I had it in between my eyebrows and on my forehead and it is just an uncomfortable pinch. It didn't necessarily hurt it just didn't feel good.

I am a nurse and I used to do injectables at a medical spa (botox, juvaderm, etc). It feels like a bee sting/hard pinch/burn. You should have minimal discomfort after. You will be fine!

And to JLW87- research actually shows that starting early, paralyzing those muscles that can become deep wrinkles through years of repeated muscle memory, actually keeps you from ever getting those deep peemanent lines/creases that botox can only do so much about later on in life! I am creeping up on 30 and am starting a minimal botox regimen every 6-9 months... I think...I need to have an official consult. It is time! Do it now...be glad later. ;-)

I've had Botox in my forehead once and it stung quite a bit, but that's all. Afterwards I had a tingling feeling in the muscles for about a week.

It's only my very own opinion, but I don't like botox. I don't liek the imagination, having a toxin injected, which paralyses muscles over month...in other words, which is chemical active for month.

(But I love smileys :-)
