Unhappy Leaky Gut Syndrome

Has anyone here treated their leaky gut? Please tell me what you did.

I did a food allergy test a few years ago. Turns out, the lining of my stomach is thin. I had to quit dairy for good. Eat egg and soy once a week. According to a food allergy test i did with a holistic dr. I went to her twice. Couldn't keep up, it was expensive! The visit was 500 an appointment, plus she had me buy a **** ton of expensive supplements.

I rather seek tips and do my own healing without professional help if I could. I just hate the idea of throwing all that money out if i have to see them more than twice.

Btw, this has to be the reason why my hair is thinning and my nails are super brittle. Because when you have a LG, nutrients aren't absorbed well. I want lucious hair and hard nails again.

I also went to a holistic dermatologist later on after that lady, and this dude had me convinced it was my breast implants. I just think years of acne antibiotics, surgical antibiotics, stress, nightlife, all of that threw my body out of wack!

Vinegar

Hi Seek and Destroy.
I have not been around for a while here on JBI, but I am here now.

I recommend using apple cider vinegar, or a vinegar you like? You only need a teaspoon or a little more daily in your salad. That is one of the items that can help you balance your gut.
I do not have LG, but have had an imbalance sometimes. Using vinegar, has helped me get back in balance. Funny it also helps with weight control & losing weight also.
I am lucky that my S.O. likes salads also.

Hi, SeekAndDestroy. Iíd also recommend you try apple cider vinegar. Iíve tried it, and it turned out that the effect was positive. Tbh, I do understand you, but I think that visiting a doctor is still the best option in this situation. So, you should keep on looking for a specialist. Just borrow some money. Btw, you could also try this treatment https://www.pillpal.to/. As far as I know, itís effective. The reviews say so. My doctor recommended it to me. Anyway, keep us updated. Best wishes.
