Running and Workouts

So I am getting really upset with my body. It's been 22 days since my surgery and I am dying to workout again! How soon did you ladies hit the gym or start running again after your surgeries?

I was told two weeks for lower body and six weeks for running or anything bouncy and up to three months for anything involving the pectoralis muscle

2 days for Walk, 3 weeks for Run or other Cardio, 6 weeks for Weights. The first Run felt a bit weird during the first 10 minutes, but it didn't take long to get the heart rates up.

I wonder how long until I can do my dance classes. Probably depends on how much I do, I guess.

If you are going under the muscle, my PS suggested 3 weeks for any cardio exercise. Unless you have to lift (a person or something..lol) during your dance class, 3 weeks should be fine. If you have concern, always check with your PS.

I was told 6-8 weeks, and I really had to wait that long. If I ran my boobs just felt weird and would get hard. I recommend eating as healthy as possible until you can workout, then it wont be as hard to bounce back, if you were set back at all

Me too! Last time we got in a big fight he stopped and told me to go running and come back when I was normal.
