Bleaching...There.

Bleaching...There.

So I never used to worry about this, but now I'm really trying to get my body into perfect condition before getting my BA, including eyelash extensions, laser hair removal, and.........bleaching. I've been using a cream called Gel for Sensitive Areas by South Beach Skin Solutions, which I paid $50 for in Seattle at the Wax Bar....they swore by it and said I should see results after 10 days if I used it twice a day. I'm using it on my armpits, nipples, and genital areas. It's been 14 days..........no change. Has anyone else tried this product? Has anyone tried a different product that actually worked? I'm sad, I really want my skin to all match - I'm half-Asian and so I've got that darker melanin pigment in those areas.

Sorry I don't have a recommendation for you, but funnily I have been wondering the same thing recently too. I have just started using a hydroquinone fade gel on my nipples but haven't had any results yet. My nipples and genital area are brown and a few shades lighter than the rest of my skin. I'll keep you posted if I have any effects

I know some people are surprised about the whole idea of bleaching your bits...I've seen responses saying we're being influenced by the unrealistically high standards of beauty from porn. I found a statistic from a study that found 20% of women have same colour genitals as their surrounding skin while the other 80% are darker down there. in most porns though there is an over representation of women with light coloured labia and with short, "tucked" away labia minora that is hidden by the labia majora. So there does seem to be a certain look that is considered to be the mainstream idea of perfect.

I personally like the light coloured genital look too... Just more photogenic i think. part of becoming a full package of hotness is addressing the parts of your body you want to change. And it feels like little victories every time you tick these off your list

Exactly!!! I think maybe i"ve watched too much porn because it's getting to me. Ahh, the pitfalls of being darker-skinned! I just hope it starts working!! PS I've heard that hydroquinone is dangerous stuff, but let me know how you do with it. If it's the only stuff that works.................

I'm also getter a laser hair removal Brazilian soon, and eyelash extensions! Then I'll be pretty close to where I wanna be on the hotness-detracting-items list.
I had actually considered getting labiaplasty to get those labia minora tucked away inside..............like you said, that's how it seems to be in porn.............but is it NORMAL to have them stick out a little bit?? Wikipedia has a whole article on it called labial hypertrophy or something and makes it sound like a disorder and like it's abnormal. Until I foudn out there was surgery for it I thought that plenty of people had labia that stick out a bit!!! Sorry for the TMI everyone.

My husband, among MANY other men I've talked too, prefer a bit of the 'untucked' look down there. Trust me, most men think it's super hot. As for the bleaching, I haven't heard of any at home product that would work.

I am not dark skinned but I do get that 12 o'clock shadow and especially under my arms. I swear by waxing now though. It has lightened up the skin simply due to the whole hair being removed but for down there, one must love being bald as now even after 4 weeks there really isnt much to wax anymore. As far as skin bleaching, all I know is when I was in Japan - the girls were big on this and the cosmetic counters were filled with such promising products!

A few girls on here said they got good results with "Divine Derriere" an anal bleaching product containing high amounts of hydroquinone. Personally I'm very suspicious about it..their official eBay account is now unregistered and has poor feedback, and their website is down for "hacking". I wonder if they got into some kind of legal trouble for being harmful!

Good luck with the brazilian hair removal sessions! I'm too dark there for it to work on me but I'm a fan of waxing, I always feel so awesome about myself after becoming bare and smooth there. I'm contemplating trying out a bunch of different waxing systems to find one I like and getting an illuminating mirror so I can do it myself instead of spending $30/month on it

''m going to try a product with kojic acid and see if that works. I looked on ebay and found a few products but can't recall their names. I'm ordering it next week and it says results in 3 weeks

I would like to recommend to stay away from any products containing hydroquinone, especially in mucus areas.

Hydroquinone is considered a carcinogen (cancer causing) and banned in most countries a permanent ban by the FDA was also proposed.

southbeach worked for me- but your only 14 days on- take at least a month- remember, your lower half has been like that for umpteen years- its not gonna fix in 2 weeks!
I also started using cottonelle wet wipes, for the only thought if well, you dont clean yourself with a towel and no water right? so why TP and not wipes? its worked..and i use the south beach on my vaginal area too
