I have two kids--my son is 4 years old and autistic, and my daughter is 17 months old. I've terrible saggy breasts and I feel sick that I can't wear anything. Can I have a breast lift? I am planning for two more kids in the future in another three years probably, but I can't wait. I am totally sick of those saggy breasts! Please guide me. I can't wait!!!
Of course, you can have breast surgery if you are unhappy with the appearance, as long as you know it's possible your breasts could sag again after having more children in the future. This might mean a revision surgery should you be unhappy with your breasts later.

Sorry to hear you are not happy with your situation. There is certainly the option to proceed with breast surgery now even though you are waiting to have more kids.
Just be aware that you may require some revision to the lift in the future if a certain degree of droopiness recurs. I find that it is less droopy than it would have been without the surgery even when patients go on to have pregnancy after breast lift/augmentation. If you are really distraught about it, you may wish to proceed earlier in order to take maximal advantage of improving your self-image now, as you say you really can't wait. We use surgical simulation software to really help patients visualize the changes possible and that is VERY motivating to patients. - Dr. Sayed

In your particular situation, there are many factors that will determine the best approach. I recommend you make an appointment and get your answer after careful examination and open discussion about your options.
The consult will be complementary.

Yes, you can have a breast uplift at this time with or without breast implants but you have to realize that they may once again sag after more children. I usually do the surgery as an outpatient and my patients can return to full activity in about two weeks.

Thank you for your question.
I generally ask patients to wait until they are done having children, but as long as you understand that you may need additional surgery after more pregnancy / nursing, there is no harm with proceeding with breast surgery.
Do your research to find an well experienced plastic surgeon who can show you many examples of breast lifting surgery.
Best wishes!

Patients often have concerns regarding family planning and elective cosmetic surgery.
The placement of sub-glandular or sub-muscular implants will not impact the ability to breast feed post-op. Patients who were able to breast feed before should be able to breast feed afterwards. Additionally, there is no serious risk of silicone contamination of the milk or feeding your child.
One word of caution--breast feeding and the physiologic changes associated with pregnancy (weight gain, engorgement etc.) can impact/compromise your ultimate aesthetic result. Patients should be aware of the risks and accept both the consequences of the changes that accompany pregnancy and the possibility of the necessary revisionary surgical interventions.
As always, discuss your concerns with a board certified plastic surgeon (ABPS).
