One of my breasts looks smaller than the other after breast augmentation. How would you handle this?
I’m currently 3 months post-op. I never was asked to try on implants beforehand. My surgeon asked what size I wanted to be, and I said DD. After surgery, I was told a 295 cc implant was used and a 450 cc implant was used. That sounded quite odd to me as I didn’t think I had that much asymmetry before surgery. Now, I have lopsided breasts. The 295 cc implant looks much smaller than the breast with the 450 cc implant. If I was your patient, how would you handle this? What would you do?

I would place a larger implant in both sides as you wished, or the smaller side and adjust to give you more symmetry. This could be done immediately!

At three months post surgery, your asymmetry is no longer a consequence of swelling. The 155 cc difference in the volume of your implants is quite dramatic in view of the fact that your breasts were not significantly uneven before the surgery. In my opinion you are facing another surgery to replace the smaller implant if you are pleased by the larger one. If the larger implant is not to your liking, you are facing replacing both.

I am 5"4 and 145lbs. I am currently a 34C and would like to be a Dcup. My PS recommend a lift. I informed him i wanted implants but still want a natural look.
