Breast Implant Replacement Questions

I currently have 325 cc breast implants and I want to significantly downsize my breasts. What is the smallest size I can go?
Breast Implant Replacement -1 answer
I currently have 325 cc size breast implants and I fit into a 10E bra, which you can understand is highly disproportionate to my petite frame. I want to downsize to a full C cup. I also think I would require a breast lift along with an areola reduction. Can you please advise?

During implant exchange, will having a capsulotomy or capsulectomy reduce my chances of getting capsular contracture?
Breast Implant Replacement -2 answers
I'm 5'9", 160lbs, BWD 15. I wish to upgrade from 400cc textured anatomical implants (Natrelle 410) to 700-800cc smooth round implants. What are the most important factors in mitigating the risk of capsular contracture. Is it best to remove the whole capsule when performing an implant exchange? Do I significantly increase my chances of CC by upsizing to implants in 700-800cc range?

What is the best way to fix problems with boob replacements?
Breast Implant Replacement -4 answers
One boob is high up and will not drop into place and the other boob is in place but now has dropped past my incision. I could wear a shirt without a bra with my other implants but now that I’m bigger one nipple is higher than the other and one boob looks bigger than the other. Very depressing.

One of my textured saline breast implants is smaller than the other and feels like it's folded in. It's also sore. Do I need it (or both) replaced?
Breast Implant Replacement -3 answers
I had textured saline breast implants placed in 1995. Recently I noticed one breast is smaller and feels like it's folded in. That breast also has a sore area. Do one or both of the implants need to be replaced? If so, do I need to get the details of my surgery in order for it to happen?

Why did I develop an infection after breast implant replacement? What can I do about the inflammation/swelling?
Breast Implant Replacement -2 answers
My silicone implants were replaced in July. Everything was going well and I was healing great. Then, I developed an infection in September--not at the incision site, fever, red, hot, extremely swollen, hospitalized, and treated with IV vancomycin and cefepime. Was released from the hospital with at-home IV antibiotics. Infection appears gone, labs normal, redness and heat gone, but no change in swelling. My breast is the size of a small cantaloupe. What do I do? Why did this happen?

Breast Implant Replacement -1 answer
I'm 4 weeks post-op. They're low with nothing left to drop and are flat on top with loose skin. I'm 40 years old, weigh 125 lbs, 5 foot seven. I had 325 cc that were in for 17 years. I had 2 children in that time and breast-fed. Both my nipples were still pretty normal, level and the doctor said I didn't need a lift. I was wearing a 34C bra and flatter on the top. In the middle and they seem to be all on the side and spread apart. I am only wearing my c bras & swimsuits.

Looking to go from 1800cc saline over the muscle (1000 shell overfilled) to around 3000cc. Willing to travel but looking for a surgeon.

Also debating on same size shell over filled to the maximum or traveling to Italy for a larger shell with an over fill. What’s the safer option?

Four days post op and my breasts look flatter and smaller than before. Is this normal?
Breast Implant Replacement -1 answer
I had 275 cc saline round, moderate implants replaced with SRF-385 Natrelle Inspira full profile silicone implants on 4/26/18 along with a capsulotomy. I wanted larger breasts with more upper pole fullness. At four days post op, I'm concerned because my breasts don't really even look swollen. No upper pole fullness. They almost look smaller and flatter. Is this normal? When I had my previous augmentation they were extremely full on top until they settled. I love my surgeon - just concerned.

Why doesn't my surgeon have knowledge of this information?
Breast Implant Replacement -2 answers
I previously had 450cc saline replaced with 415cc cohesive gel. My surgeon said this was an equivalent size. I feel much smaller and not as full. I decided to do my own research. Natrelle states that when you exchange from saline to gel you should increase by 25cc or 7-10% by other websites.

Why aren't my incision healing after having 4 separate surgeries, to fix the issue?
Breast Implant Replacement -1 answer
Where he took my tape off there was another, long wide black incision, with a very painful knot. There was also a strange odor coming from the incision. The last one in December had fluid pouring out. It had a yellow and green color with an oily and bloody fluid. He didn't swab it. I don't know what to do anymore. It's so frustrating and all of these surgeries are also making me feel extremely sick afterward.

Mother received breast implants in Cambodia from an American doctor.
Breast Implant Replacement -2 answers
Apparently they were mentor implants, priced at $4000. My mother was certain that they were mentors, reassured by the surgeon. The next year, the left one has hardened. Doctor mentioned it was scar tissue. My mum has vertigo, and started bleeding down there seven years after menopause. I have this intuitive feeling that they possibly could be industrial implants? What questions does she need to ask a doctor? How can we find out what type of implants they are?

Is it possible to make the breast pocket larger without removing the implant so the breast will drop more for an even more natural look?
Breast Implant Replacement -2 answers
I've had two surgeries (200 cc) and the implants look too high for my taste. I went on my second surgery to decrease to 175 cc, which looks great for my petite frame. I like the results. The only problem I find is that the implants are still kind of high for my taste, even five years later. Not neck high, but I'd be happier if they'd lower a couple of inches. Is it possible to surgically increase the pocket size without removing the current implants so they drop more? Thanks in advance.

Breast revision with an anchor lift.
Breast Implant Replacement -6 answers
I will be undergoing an explant/implant surgery with an anchor lift. I currently have 360cc implants filled to 390 cubic centimeters. I will be replacing with gummys. I wish to go smaller. My doctor requested 200cc to 425cc high profile sizers. Is there a big difference between those numbers? I did tell him I want smaller, but to me 200cc seems to be too small. I am 5 '4", 123 lbs. I'm currently a 36 DD or 34 DDD.

What is the difference between Mentor silicone gel implants and MemoryGel silicone implants?
Breast Implant Replacement -2 answers
I have Mentor silicone gel implants and am considering a revision. I have 2 questions: (1) How are the MemoryGel implants different from the Mentor implants that I have now? (2) If I want to replace with the previous style to keep them the same as what I currently have, will they last as long - that is, if they have been on the shelf for a couple of years, does their 10-year expiration based on the date of manufacture or the date of implantation?

Should I have my implants removed or replaced with smaller ones?
Breast Implant Replacement -3 answers
I want my large implants removed. I was told I would need a lift afterwards. Then I was told by another surgeon that I have no sagging and my nipples are placed perfect from a prior lift I had years ago and an exchange for smaller implants would be best. I am confused about what I should do.
