Thank you for your question. Saline breast implants come in different projections, a high profile implant is just that. The base is narrower than a moderate or low profile so you don't look like you have gained weight or are top heavy compared to your hips, your projection is forward not wider.

When choosing larger implants it is a good idea to use high profile. For the Fake Barbie Doll look, we recommend placing the implant on top of the muscle, this also takes up excess skin and gives somewhat of a breast lift.

You will have a faster recovery, less downtime, usually after three to five days you are feeling back to your self. There are still lifting and exercising restrictions. XL breast implants are one of my specialties. I usually recommend that saline implants be placed under the muscle, especially for a "fake" look!

I guess it would depend on your anatomy, but the overstuffed look is simply due to overfilling the implant. It is sort of like putting air in a balloon.

I do lots and lots of XL implants -- 200 in the last year. To fill to 1000cc I wouldn't actually use an 800cc shell, because the 800cc shell is actually rated 800-960cc and overfilling to 1000cc is hardly overfilling at all.

To get a nice round full fake look you need at least a 10% overfill if not a 20% overfill. So that would mean using one of the following Mentor shells:
Mod Plus 700-840cc
Mod Plus 750-900cc

Either of these could be filled to 1000cc and look nice round and fake, obviously the 700-840cc overfill % would be higher so it would give the most round fake look.

In addition to selecting the proper implant she'll and filling it properly, there is also what you do to prepare the pockets. If you just put the implants in, overfill them to 1000cc, and sit back and watch, over time (months to years) they will get lower and lower and lower. To counteract this effect, I always use the Internal Bra with XL implants, which is my strong permanent internal suturing technique which provides excellent long term support for your XL implants and prevents furniture bottoming out.
