What's a ball park cost for Augmentation?

I know there is a vast amount of factors that go into breast augmentation, lifts, and implant manufacturer costs alongside anesthesia, facility, meds, and other costs. But in your experience what is a ball park cost range you typically see for breast augmentation, and breast augmentation + lift. It'd be very helpful if you share a range like 9-10k or 6-7k, etc.
Thanks!

It is difficult to determine a ball park figure. As noted, cost varies depending on the type of implant (for instance, saline vs. silicone), the surgeon's experience/skill level, the region in which you are having the surgery performed, etc.

However, in our practice, we charge $4,000 (all-inclusive for augmentation) and add $4,000 for mastopexy (lift).

Price varies around the country. Silicone implants cost more than saline implants. Using a doctor of anesthesia will cost more than using a nurse. Having your surgery in a licensed outpatient facility will cost more than in a physician's office. But remember in all of this that safety comes first, not being penny wise. A bargain priced surgeon may cut corners, and this may lead to a higher risk of complications. I think you are in the ball park with your higher price range for a lift plus augmentation.

Augmentation costs can vary widely depending upon area of the country, surgeon experience, and implant type used. In a large city with an experienced surgeon, turnkey costs for saline implant can be around 6000, silicone around 7000, and the new anatomic high cohesive gel implants can make costs run over 8000. adding a lift can add several thousand dollars to a procedure depending upon the type of lift needed.
Do not pick you surgeon solely upon price- you are gambling with your outcome. Pick a surgeon that listens to your needs in consultation, seems to have a competent office staff, and has evidence of dedicating the majority of his/her practice to cosmetic breast surgery.

The average is so wide that it is pretty meaningless to know. Breast aug on the low end is probably about $4000 and on the high end about $15,000. Aug plus lift would be about $7000 on the low end and $20,000 on the high end. But those are guesses.

Remember, a doctor on the low end could be fantastic and a doctor on the high end totally mediocre. Go to a board certified surgeon who is a member of ASAPS (surgery.org). Meet a couple and make your decision.

If their prices are still too high, don't go to an unqualified non-board certified doctor. The thing to do is go to the local major university hospital that has a plastic surgery training program. Residents in their final months of training, about to go out on their own in the immediate future, do surgery staffed with prominent plastic surgeons from the community. That's my suggestion for well-priced surgery.

Hi there, breast augmentation alone is about $8-9.5K, depending on implant (I don't use saline implants, and I high recommend you don't choose them, regardless where you go). With a lift it is about $10-14K, depending on implant and lift type. This would include everything except lab fees and medications, which usually range around $250 combined. Thank you!

Thank you for asking. You are knowledgeable about the numerous factors involved with the ultimate cost. Geographic location varies the price as well. While it may be a straightforward case, the complexity of the patient's specific case also plays a role. The pricing shouldn't be too low or high. The pricing really is an individualized case (somewhat like an estimate from a contractor for a re-modeling) and is difficult to say in an online forum. Seek out different board certified plastic surgeon consultations and assuming the actual plan is actually equal then you will see what is appropriate. Best wishes

Saline augmentation is the cheapest at about $5200 to $5500. Silicone is generally around $7500. Silicone with a left is generally about $1100. Certainly this differs from Beverly Hills where it is at least 40% higher as it also is in New York City. You can also spend less if you go to the mills that have billboards. But those physicians rarely see you after the surgery or even before and certainly don't care about education. You usually are not taken well care of there and every doctor knows his worth. You only have one body so you don't want to go to the cheapest bidder. Look for a surgeon that is a member of the American Society for aesthetic plastic surgery as he is the cream of the crop

There may be other physicians the charge less but most either are not board certified plastic surgeons or don't have a lot of experience with breast augmentations.

Prices vary greatly by region of the country. Whereas in new york city or Canda, a breast augmentation may cost $10,000, in south florida (fort lauderdale), I charge $5500 for silicone implants done under general anesthesia in a fully accredited facility. That includes everything except medications and pre-op blood work which can be done by your doctor or a nearby lab (they charge $99 for labs and ECG). If a lift is needed, the price may vary depending on how much of a lift...is it just periareolar or a full wise pattern/anchor type lift? the additional cost can be from $1500 to $3500 since there is a big difference in the amount of time and work involved in doing different lifts. I have patients travelling to me from all over the country because they can pay for the surgery and a hotel, have a little vacation, and still spend less than having it "at home". Best of luck.

$6000 to $7000 range is a reasonable cost for augmentation, including surgeon's fee, anesthesia, facilities fee, and silicone implants. When you factor in adding a mastopexy or lift, this could add another four to five thousand as this will likely more than double your OR time.

Costs of surgery will vary from region to region and from surgeon to surgeon; please don't make this the primary factor in choosing your plastic surgeon. Experience, safety record, and quality of work will matter most. it would be much better to save up have the procedure done correctly; revisionary surgery can be more costly (in many ways).
In my practice, the range would be $7500-$10,500 depending on the type of implant and how much of a breast lift is indicated.

In my office breast augmentation is generally in the $5000 range (saline) up to $6000 (silicone) up to a little more for a large augmentation (above 600cc). An XL augmentation (1000cc or more) can cost $10,000. These estimates include all of the fees involved- surgeon's fee, board certified MD anesthesiologist, OR in a real hospital, bra, preoperative CBC and pregnancy test, implants, and all of your pre- and postop visits. The only thing not included are the medications, which may be covered by your medical insurance or may be purchased for around $100-$150.

Similarly, the total cost for a breast lift ranges from a donut mastopexy/ augmentation in the $6500-$7500 range all the way up to a full, anchor type mastopexy/ augmentation in the $10,000-$11,000 range.

The total may be slightly higher or slightly lower than the estimates above based on your anatomy, medical history, special requests, etc.

When you get quotes you do want to make sure they are all-inclusive, and also find out where your surgery will take place (office, ambulatory surgery center, hospital) as well as who will be providing your anesthesia (nurse, CRNA, anesthesiologist).

I just had surgery yesterday and I got 355cc's. They look so small in my surgical bra and wrap. I'm worried that they won't be big enough. Do you know what size I might be once the implants settle? I'm hoping small D.

I thought I was getting 400cc high profile silicone but my PS said they'll be 400cc moderate plus. I wanted a natural but big look, a D cup, and a small gap. Maybe that's why he chose those? Is there much difference in projection?

My breast augmentation is next Saturday and I am hesitating between 225 and 250cc submuscular silicone! I am a 32A/tiny B and fill up a 32B bra at Victoria's Secret. I am looking to be a full B/small C. I'm 5"6 and weigh around 100lbs. I am so scared I'm going to look disproportional and fake, but am also scared this is going to make me go too small. My goal is to look natural and proportional, while at the same time have a nice rack. Which implant do you think will give me the desired look?

Hi, I had surgery on 10/13/2016. I got 405cc hp under the muscle. My implants are high and they look square. Is this normal? When will they start to take their shape? They look smaller than what I expected. Will they get bigger?

I'm a little lost on the XL implants matter, that I personally like. Are they really unsafe? What are the reasons for that? It seems most PS don't recommend/perform them. Is it by lack of experience/expertise? Idealism? Are those PS who perform these procedures just "warriors" responding to a well present market? I would be curious to hear some honest answers, leaving the politically/socially correct behind. Thanks in advance.

I am 5"4 and 145lbs. I am currently a 34C and would like to be a Dcup. My PS recommend a lift. I informed him i wanted implants but still want a natural look. PS recommended 485cc smooth moderate plus silicone obove the mucle. Possible mini lift during surgery depending on how the implant looks during surgery. It just sounds like a lot of CCs. It doesn't feel right and now I'm freaking out.

I am 5'7" and weigh 158 pounds. I want XL implants. My goal is to have a Barbie doll/Playboy model look. Based on my height and weight, would 1200cc or 1250cc help me achieve that? I want high projection and side boob.

I'm currently a large C-cup. My doctor said with 600cc I will end up around a DD. I'm fine with that but 600cc seems really big. Can my frame really handle that big of an implant and not look like Dolly Parton? I'm 5ft 8 in tall, 160lbs, size 10, wide shoulders.

I have questions about 800cc implants over-filled to 1000cc to achieve the Barbie doll fake look. How is this procedure performed to achieve the high profile Barbie doll fake look? Is this procedure performed over the muscle or under the muscle?
