Can you recommend some good scar creams post-breast augmentation?

I've seen a number of scar creams online but I don't know which to choose. Are there any you recommend? When can I apply it and how long before I see results?

Hi, thank you for your question. I would consult your board-certified plastic surgeon to see if they have any recommendations.

I recommend silicone sheeting, vitamin E supplement or topical ointment after the scar has healed, which is typically about 6 weeks or so. Self-massage of the scar after it has initially healed may be beneficial as well.

Ask your surgeon about the timing because the healing process varies between individuals.

Has anyone else out there experienced anything like this?
