My breasts are taking on different shapes after breast augmentation. What's going on? Is this normal?
My PS is currently on vacation and I’m a little over two weeks post-op. I’m very concerned about the shape of my breasts. The left one seems a lot more oval and flat than the right. They’ve advised me to only do massages on the right, but it doesn’t seem to be making a difference. What is going on?

It is quite normal for the breasts to heal asymmetrically. You are still early on in the healing process, so I wouldn't be overly-concerned about their different shapes. One may have already begun to relax, while the other one may not have yet. Continue to follow the instructions you were given and be sure to schedule a follow up with your PS when he/she returns from vacation.

At 2 weeks you are still early in the healing process. I encourage patients to allow for 3-6 months before passing judgements as much will change from now until then. Asymmetries are very common in the early stages, however, they often improve.
With regards to your specific question, you may ultimately need revision, but it is much too early to tell for certain. Things will need time to settle.
As always, discuss your concerns with a board-certified plastic surgeon (ABPS).

I am 5"4 and 145lbs. I am currently a 34C and would like to be a Dcup. My PS recommend a lift. I informed him i wanted implants but still want a natural look.
