Implant rippling is in and of itself a sign of rippling.
Rippling is more common in saline implants than their silicone counterparts. However, this occurs to some degree in all implants. The visibility of the rippling externally is a function of implant placement (over vs. under) and the amount of native breast tissue to serve as camouflage for the device.
In those patients, where there is a scarcity of available coverage, submuscular placement of a silicone implant is recommended. This will provide the least rippling.
As always, discuss your concerns with a board-certified plastic surgeon (ABPS).

With thin overlying breast tissue and fat, the outline of the implant can be seen. As the space for the implant gets smaller with capsule/scar, the implant ripples and this appears as unnatural lines that make the breasts look fake. There was a time when the only option was removal and replacement but now the treatment of choice is fat grafting to thicken the area of visibility and make it look natural. In fact, most of my patients now get fat grafting at the time of BA to prevent this and give a natural-appearing result.

You will see a ripple through the skin or a fold of some kind that was not present before.

I am two weeks post and was told they weren't going to change much considering my skin was already stretched out. I had a capsulorrhaphy due to severe bottoming out after a lift with implants. My implants are still small and unders. I don't want them to drop, because now at 2 weeks post-op, they look normal. I had a breast augmentation 3 years ago and from the beginning I've developed a dent on the cleavage area of my right breast. My surgeon said it would get better with time but it has only gotten worse.
Afterwards, I had a second augmentation because the first implants were too heavy, and the dent is still there.
