How do I know if I have implant displacement?
Since surgery, my right breast has done really well—it’s dropped and fluffed. My left, however, is still struggling and is showing no signs of dropping. The only progress thus far is the swelling is gone and no more pain. The implant itself is still sitting where my surgeon put it. My skin has stretched at the bottom but it’s empty. I am embarrassed about how I look. I’ve expressed this concern to my doc be he just says watch and wait but gives no explanation for the problem.

Do I have a capsular contracture after my hematoma?
I'm 2 weeks post-op. My PS confirmed I had a "slight" hematoma in my right breast at 4 days po. That breast has hard lumpy nuggets in it and the whole breast is very firm. It is nothing like my left. It rides high but isn't larger in appearance. My PS gave me the option to have a full blown surgery to drain it, remove the implant and put the same implant back under general anesthesia. Or, wait and see. I opted to wait. Now I think I made a mistake. I don't know what my options are or what to do.

Will my breasts look bigger after dropping and fluffing? I'm scared that they will get smaller because I love the size they are now.
I had 410cc high profile silicone implants placed under the muscle 1 week and 4 days ago. I am 6,2m in length and weight is 51kg. I was a small A-cup before. I really would love to be at least a D-cup. Will my breast get smaller than they are now?

One of my textured saline breast implants is smaller than the other and feels like it's folded in. It's also sore. Do I need it (or both) replaced?
I had textured saline breast implants placed in 1995. Recently I noticed one breast is smaller and feels like it's folded in. That breast also has a sore area. Do one or both of the implants need to be replaced? If so, do I need to get the details of my surgery in order for it to happen?

Can lack of cleavage be fixed with a second breast augmentation without changing implant size?
I had breast augmentation on January 16. I had no complications. I like the size and how they feel. However, I don't have cleavage. My breasts are too far apart, so that makes me feel embarrassed and sad. I cannot wear certain kinds of clothes because the separation looks awful. I was totally flat and had no cleavage before the surgery, so I'm OK with the size, just not the cleavage. Is there a way to fix this problem without increasing the size of the implant? How would my surgeon do this?

Why did I develop an infection after breast implant replacement? What can I do about the inflammation/swelling?
My silicone implants were replaced in July. Everything was going well and I was healing great. Then, I developed an infection in September--not at the incision site, fever, red, hot, extremely swollen, hospitalized, and treated with IV vancomycin and cefepime. Was released from the hospital with at-home IV antibiotics. Infection appears gone, labs normal, redness and heat gone, but no change in swelling. My breast is the size of a small cantaloupe. What do I do? Why did this happen?

When will my right breast drop? It still looks like a torpedo 3 months after breast augmentation surgery.
I am about 3 months post-breast augmentation and my right breast will not drop. It looks like a torpedo still and I do not know what to do. My doc is in Ohio.

Is it possible to rupture your breast implants with side sleeping?
I had my breast augmentation on January 16th. So far I haven't had any complications. However, I would like to know if there is a risk of rupture with side sleeping. I haven't found any information about it and it scares me that the pressure can make the implants rupture.

I'm getting my breast implants removed. Do burn marks from a surgical electric knife go away? Will my doc need to stitch my cut breast muscle?
I am planning to get my breast implants removed. On YouTube, I saw a breast explant surgery video where a doctor used a surgical electric knife. It left burn marks on the tissue. Is this safe? Will the burn marks go away. Also, since I had a dual plane breast implant placement, is it important to stitch the cut muscle up? Both of doctors said that it’s unnecessary.

I plan on getting my breast implants removed. What is the safest way to do this?
1. With local anesthesia, via areola incision (I got my breast augmentation through them). Endoscopic explant surgery, partial capsulectomy 2. With general anesthesia, via areola incision. Endoscopic explant surgery, partial capsulectomy and burn rest of the capsule with surgical electric knife to create scars so that breast tissues will stick to close the space(pocket). Is general anesthesia or local anesthesia best? Is it safe to have partial capsule left in my breasts?

How will my current implants affect my CC decision for new augmentation?
I’m getting a second breast augmentation. My first augmentation brought me up from no breast tissue to 225 cc's. When considering how big I should go this time, does having breast implants now make a difference? Now that I already have a B cup, will that effect my cc's for the next surgery?

I want larger breast implants (1000cc). Should I have the procedure done in Florida or Belgium?
3 years ago I had an uplift with breast implants (405cc). Despite asking my surgeon to place the implants behind the muscle, he put in front. Now, I want to go much bigger as I feel my boobs have dropped. I found a specific doctor in Florida who does the internal bra procedure and has experience with implants over 1000cc, which I hope to get. Should I have the procedure in Florida or Belgium? Is one location better or safer than the other?

My breasts are taking on different shapes after breast augmentation. What's going on? Is this normal?
My PS is currently on vacation and I’m a little over two weeks post-op. I’m very concerned about the shape of my breasts. The left one seems a lot more oval and flat than the right. They’ve advised me to only do massages on the right, but it doesn’t seem to be making a difference. What is going on?

Why do some surgeons recommend massaging breast implants after surgery? It seems like a contraindication.
I’ve had my breast implants for about a year, and now I’ve noticed that my left breast dropped a little lower. After noticing such a drop, my doctor said to fix this he could go back in and close the pocket. This makes me wonder: why do some surgeons recommend massaging your boobs after surgery if it keeps the pocket open? It seems that would allow them to drop, and frankly I feel like that adds to the whole issue women have of no cleavage and/or sagging.

I currently have 470cc gel implants under the muscle. I'm getting ready to revise to 560cc gel moderate. Should I go 600cc?
I am 5 feet 5 inches tall and 150 lbs. I currently have 470cc gel implants under the muscle. I will be revising to 560cc gel moderate implants. Will this be noticeable, or should I go up to 600cc? I am hoping for a sizeable difference. Currently, I have no cleavage and need a push up bra with padding to get any kind of cleavage. I am hoping to look bigger, and at the same time, not too big. I started with a deflated 32 C cup.

Did I pull a muscle or is there something wrong with my old implant?
I got over-the-muscle silicone breast implants 11 years ago. My breasts appear fine and I haven't encountered any problems in 11 years. Over the weekend I painted fences, then a few days ago I awoke to a very mild discomfort in my right breast. It feels almost like a pulling feeling that tends to be more noticeable when stretching or lifting something. No swelling. I feel less discomfort when wearing a sports bra. Is this just a pulled muscle or is there something wrong my with implant?

How long do I have to wait to have another breast implant revision? I'm unhappy with my breast size.
Prior to nursing 4 kids, my breasts were very large. After nursing, my breasts reduced in size. I had round saline implants (400cc) placed behind the muscle in 2003. Then, June 2018, I had them replaced with 485cc Natrelle cohesive round smooth implants. The pocket was also revised. Even with the upgrade, they still feel too small. I want more upper pole and cleavage, while maintaining my current volume or bigger. How long do I have to wait to have another revision?
